Andrea Pietrobon

Cyclist, pianist, musician (very passionate about music): this Belluno-born young man got to experience our U23 and in late 2022 got a taste of the Pro world with our jersey to later earn his passage into the pros. Lots of courage that led him to show up in the breakaway on many occasions, after a 2022 in which bad luck that dealt him a nasty crash that ended his season early. His return to racing was under the banner of steady growth, which led him to a beautiful end of the season: we look forward to him, to grow again, in 2024. Andrea joined Team Friuli in 2020 after two seasons with Zalf Euromobil, already as U23, and in the junior category (2016 and 2017) with Northwave Upper Cervical – Treviso. The Venetian rider, a friend and regular training partner of his teammates Davide and Mattia Bais, describes himself as a “passer” climber, and his love affair with cycling came a bit later than some of his other teammates. “I was 10 years old. I started cycling without a specific reason or previous family connection. I discovered the sport and asked my parents for permission to start, which they allowed me to do.”
