From Sunday at the Clásica de Torredonjimeno to Tuesday at the Coppa Caduti Nervianesi

23 April | Clásica de Torredonjimeno: Torredonjimeno-Torredonjimeno (165 km)
25th April | Coppa Caduti Nervianese: Nerviano - Nerviano (153 km)

The Clásica de Torredonjimeno, with which the Spanish U23 Elite Cup returns to the limelight, and the Coppa Caduti Nervianesi, which takes place next Tuesday, are the next two competitive commitments of the EOLO-KOMETA Cycling Team U23. Two absolutely different races in what the orographic proposal refers that will allow to align, beyond the casualties, more specific profiles of rider for his dispute.

On Sunday, Torredonjimeno awaits the Spanish amateur peloton with an always difficult Clásica de Torredonjimeno. The race in Jaén is very tough and concentrates much of its difficulty in the chain of climbs to Locubín and Valdepeñas, in the second half of the route. And always with a multitude of steep slopes and ambushes along the route.

Ramón Fernández, Álex García, Arnau Gilabert, Sebastiano Minoia, Andrea Montoli, Fran Muñoz and Pablo Uría make up Rafa Díaz Justo’s team. Sebastiano Minoia, sixteenth, is the best placed in the general classification of a Cup that Thomas Silva leads both in the absolute classification and in the U23 with five races to go. The idea of the Toledo-based coach, however, is always the same: trial by trial.

The Coppa Caduti Nervianesi celebrates its 76th edition, once again on its fixed date of 25 April to commemorate the Italian liberation since 1947. The Lombard race, which takes place near Busto Arsizio and in which the EOLO-KOMETA Cycling Team was already present last year, is based on a fairly flat semi-urban circuit.

Edoardo Alleva, Luca Bagnara, Gabriele Bessega, Tommaso Bessega, Raul Lopez and Gabriele Raccagni compose the team that will take part on behalf of the blue squad, a formation with a lot of work capacity and three fast riders to explore their options in a hypothetical volley, a quite habitual resolution in this race that presents very high final average speeds.

23 April | Clásica de Torredonjimeno: Torredonjimeno-Torredonjimeno (165 km).

25th April | Coppa Caduti Nervianese: Nerviano – Nerviano (153 km).
