Victorias de Diego Pablo Sevilla y Fernando Barceló
Los equipos de la fundación Alberto Contador han vivido un intenso fin de semana de competiciones, cuyo punto álgido han sido las victorias de los juniors del Flex Diego Pablo Sevilla y Fernando Barceló, mientras el equipo Specialized-sub23 ha cubierto las tres primeras etapas del durísimo Tour de Bretaña y hoy hizo cuarto en la sexta manga de la Copa de España, el Memorial Montparler, con Juan Antonio López-Cózar.
El Flex-Fundación Contador fue el gran dominador, el sábado, en Bembibre, donde Diego Pablo Sevilla, Miguel Ángel Ballesteros y Fernando Barceló, por este orden, coparon las tres primeras plazas, tras una dura carrera en la que el equipo de Félix García Casas realizó un gran papel. Sevilla y Ballesteros llegaron destacados a meta, mientras Barceló, por detrás, ganó el sprint al cuarto clasificado y Ángel Fuentes fue quinto. Pazos completó el trabajo adjudicándose las metas volantes.
Hoy domingo, el gran protagonista fue Fernando Barceló, que se anotó su carta victoria del año, al batir sobre la línea de meta a un grupo de unos treinta corredores, aunque previamente había protagonizado un último salto en compañía de otro corredor que terminó a escasos mil metros de la llegada.

The Alberto Contador Foundation’s teams have lived an intense weekend of competitions, which have had the high point with victories of juniors Diego Pablo Sevilla and Fernando Barceló, while the Specialized- U23 team has covered the first three stages of the grueling Tour of Bretragne today and was fourth on the sixth Cup of Spain’s race, the Memorial Montparler, with Juan Antonio López-Cózar.
