The orographies of Castellón recover their Volta with four days of intense cycling and a good ration of climbs

Volta a Castellón
From 3 to 6 June

Cycling is back. A beautiful slogan adopted by the Levantine race. And true. Cycling is back. And it returns for one of the most interesting races on the national amateur scene for years. In terms of routes and spectacle, the Volta a Castelló is a benchmark in the category.

After two seasons of absence, the U23 team of the Contador Foundation returns to its routes. And its presence is a logistical challenge for the structure, with part of the team taking part at the same time in the Giro U23. In 2018, the team won the team overall and had up to three riders in the top 15 overall.

The Fundación Contador U23 team will take part with a sextet made up of Cantabrian Álvaro García, Catalan Arnau Gilabert, Andalusian David Martín, Asturian Yago Segovia and Italians Alessio Acco and Andrea Montoli, all under the orders of director Félix García Casas.

The stages.
3 June: Segorbe – Segorbe (136 km).

4th June: Onda – Onda (122.6 km).

5th June: Grau de Castellón – Vistabella del Maestrazgo (133 km).

6th June: Castelló – Castellón (135 km).
