The competitive Vuelta a Cantabria, the kick-off of a new and intense cycle of stage races

Vuelta Ciclista a Cantabria
From 1 to 3 September

After several weeks of hiatus in terms of stage races (the last one came with the debut of the Vuelta a Toledo Imperial at the beginning of August), the arrival of September brings with it an intense succession of day by day events in Spanish territory that will have their zenith on French soil in the transition from this month to October. And to begin with, the Vuelta Ciclista a Cantabria.

The Tour of Cantabria repeats the same scheme that it presented in its last edition and that it already presented, in an unprecedented and pioneering case within the routes of the races in the U23 category, last January on the occasion of the celebration in Madrid of the International Tourism Fair (IFEMA).

Edoardo Alleva, Marcel Camprubí, David Domínguez, Sebastiano Minoia, Andrea Montoli and Pablo Uría will be the riders who will represent the EOLO-KOMETA Cycling Team in a race where the structure reached the podium in 2021 with Vicente Hernaiz, third overall.

The stages.
Stage 1 (September 1): Maliaño- Maliano (148,8 km).

Stage 2 (2 September): Vioño – Vioño (135 km).

Stage 3 (3rd September): Puente Viesgo – Cuevas del Monte Castillo (148.4 km).
