Edoardo Alleva takes another step forward in Rovescala
Edoardo Alleva is in a sweet moment of form and this Sunday he proved it again. If 24 hours before he was one of the most combative riders in Carnago, in the demanding (and sometimes wet) Gran Premio Colli Rovescalesi the Borgomadero rider was again in the pomp when the race increased its intensity. In a dynamic of breakaways and refuges on a circuit that was made hard by the seven passes over a climb of about three and a half kilometres, a selection was generated from which the final podium of the day emerged, with Davide de Pretto (Zalf) as the winner.
“I was in the main breakaway, twenty riders, and in the final part it became super hard with a lot of attacks. They all started and I couldn’t do much more on my own. I didn’t start the day with the best legs after the efforts of the previous day, and even more with the wear and tear of the day, but I’m still satisfied”, said Alleva, who finished in the top twenty.
