Double ration of classics in Lombardy
Carnago, in the province of Varese, and Rovescala, in the province of Pavia, are the two Lombardy destinations for the U23 team of the Contador Foundation this coming weekend. It will be an eminently Italian squad that will face these commitments, a prelude to the cycle of stage races that will be held in the coming weeks in the Spanish calendar.
For these races the sport direction of the EOLO-KOMETA Cycling Team has summoned six riders, though there will be a discard for Sunday due to the participation of squads of five riders in Rovescala. Edoardo Alleva, Luca Bagnara, Gabriele Bessega, Tommaso Bessega, Sebastiano Minoia, Gabriele Raccagni integrate this block, with Minoia leaving the team for Sunday.
Two races with a similar conception: circuits, with all that this implies in terms of turns and other particularities, where there is no lack of climbs where the accumulated fatigue, effort and wear and tear can do more and more damage.
Saturday 26th August | GP Industria Commercio Artigianato Carnaghese: Carnago – Carnago (170 km).
Sunday 27th August | 70th GP Colli Rovescalesi: Rovescala – Rovescala (155.7 km).
