The Cantabrian rider David Puente confirmed his great form by winning in the streets of Pola de Laviana. A small group that also included Álex García, sixth at the finish, and Nil Aguilera, eighth.

In the morning the youth structure of the Contador Foundation signed the third best time in the team time trial that, over 10 kilometres, linked Moreda and Cabañaquinta. The boys in blue were 14 seconds behind the 13’40” set by the MMR Academy.
