European Cycling Championships U23 Anadia

New international commitment for a rider of the U23 structure of the Contador Foundation after the calls of Davide Piganzoli, Javi Serrano or Muñoz himself for the Nations Cup or the recent calls of Fernando Tercero and Marcel Camprubí for the Mediterranean Games in Oman.
Barcelona’s Fran Muñoz has been called up by coach Mikel Zabala to be part of the Spanish team that will compete these days at the U23 European Cycling Championships, which will be held in the Portuguese town of Anadia.
The rider from Mataró will compete both in the time trial on Thursday, over 22 kilometres, and in the road race on Sunday, just over 147 kilometres that the peloton will have to complete in the seven laps of a circuit of just over 21 kilometres.
Muñoz shares the team with Joseba López, José Marín, Jokin Murguialday, Xabier Isasa and Iván Romero, who will also take part in the time trial.
