The RFEC confirms the new dates for the six uncontested trials of the Spanish Junior Cup
In the early hours of Thursday 18 June, the Royal Spanish Cycling Federation (RFEC) officially confirmed the new calendar for the Spanish Cup in the youth category, of which six of the eight trials scheduled at the beginning of the season are still to be played.
The 2020 edition of the Cup, according to this calendar, would return in mid-July with the celebration of the San Sebastian Trophy of Madrid’s Kings, on Sunday 12th.
Two trials during the month of August, one in September and two others in October would make the celebration of the great cycling tournament of the youth category concrete.
On Thursday, August 6, in Xativa, the I Trofeo de Fallas will be played. On Friday, April 14, the Trophy of La Canonja will be fixed. The José Luis Junco Memorial in Unquera (Cantabria), on the other hand, will host the fourth race of the return on Sunday 20th September.
The Cursa Ciclista del Llobregat, an icon of the category at a national level with almost forty editions behind it, has been set on Sunday, October 4. Two weeks later, on Sunday 18th, the Cup will reach its final with the celebration of the Peñafiel City Council Trophy, the final event of these last editions.
