Strade Bianche: the emotion of a World Tour race
Strade Bianche (184 km)
Races are never just races. Because it’s easy to throw in so many other things: the beauty of what’s around, for example. And then, when you talk about Strade Bianche, it becomes child’s play: Siena, Piazza del Campo, the setting, the fatigue and the dust or the mud. A beautiful race, as hard as it is beautiful, as important as it is demanding.
A World Tour race, and this alone should be enough to make us happy: being here is not a given. But, of course, it’s not enough for us. We’ll race to try to be seen, we’ll race to try to make people talk about us, we’ll race in our own way: the EOLO-KOMETA way.
Stefano Zanatta: “This is a beautiful race, which over the years has grown in visibility and importance. There’s a lot of followers, there are the strongest teams in the world, and we’re here too: happy, convinced to be here, ready to run to be seen. It will be very hard and we know it, but the team has already shown to be in a very good condition and we are ready”.
