Dario Giuliano
U23
The Frenchman will be one of the young riders who will face the jump in category with the U23 structure of the Fundación Contador. Residing near the very cycling town of Pau, a regular stop on the Tour de France that has also hosted the Vuelta a España, Giuliano comes from Team 31 Jolly Cycles U19. “I started cycling when I was seven years old. My father competed in amateur races and I liked to go and watch him. When he was approaching the end of his career, it made me want to try it too. And from then on, without stopping. Cycling is a very tough sport, but nevertheless it gives you a lot of emotions and that makes it special. Whether it’s a good or a bad feeling, in the end it’s about surpassing yourself. And that’s what I like most about cycling,” he says. “Joining EOLO-KOMETA is a huge opportunity for my career. My goal is to be able to exploit my abilities to the maximum and continue to progress in order to one day reach the Holy Grail of professionalism. With a very rich calendar of international races,” concludes the rider from the capital of the Pyrénées-Atlantiques department.
