Autumn and the end of the season has arrived, which in the case of EOLO Kometa presents an interesting calendar of classics in Italy as well as the last scheduled stage race in Croatia.
The central European country will host six days of competition with long distances in the first and fourth stages, over 220 kilometres, and with a profile for sprinters, except for the fifth stage that will crown the overall winner in the mountains.
In this way, five sprints with two clear options for Vincenzo Albanese, since near the finish line there will be some important climbs, and a lot of confidence in the role that the climbers can play in the six climbs of the queen stage.
Jesús Hernández: “The Tour of Croatia will be a race with a high level. The WorldTour teams are looking to score as many points as possible and that makes it much more difficult to fight for the victories, everything is being disputed. But I have a lot of confidence in Albanese, I think he is in exceptional form and has already demonstrated his ability in the profiles that we are going to face. The team is created around him, to support him, looking for the stage victory and as the days go by we will confirm if he can also compete for the overall”.
