IX Ruta do Albariño
Stage 3: Cambados – Cambados (112,1 km)

The Ruta do Albariño had again a great protagonism of the Portuguese youth cycling, with Team Bairrada that copied the partial victories and the final overall. Antonio Morgado, winner of the time trial on Friday and the online stage on Saturday, won in a classification where the junior structure of the Contador Foundation had three of its riders in the top 10: Joel Díaz, seventh; Álex García, eighth; David Puente, ninth.

In the last stage, with start and finish in Cambados, the victory went to Ruben Rodrigues from Portugal, who beat Luis Garcia (MMR) and Jorge Garcia (Entrenamiento Ciclismo), with whom he had led a breakaway in the final stages. The three came from a group of fourteen riders that had taken the lead after the ascent to O Busto, with its summit in the last twenty kilometres. In that group were Joel Díaz, Álex García and David Puente. Díaz would lead the leader’s group in his sprint to finish fourth.

Until the arrival at O Busto, where the breakaway of the day came to an end, the protagonist was a breakaway of four riders in which Joan Cadena rode. The Catalan, with his first place in the two flying goals of the day, secured the lead in this secondary classification at the end of a race in which what happened on Friday in the time trial was definitive in terms of classification.
