EOLO KOMETA and Elmec Informatica, a journey that continues
The journey continues. The one between EOLO KOMETA and Elmec Informatica S.p.A. is a relationship of those healthy, loyal, lasting ones. A relationship born at the beginning of this team’s adventure in the world of cycling and grown day after day in a continuous sharing of goals and ideals. A relationship that is renewed again, for the next sports season, under the sign of continuity and common vision.
Elmec is not just another company. Rooted in the green territory of Varese, there where the most beautiful mountains overlook mirrored in the lakes and where Ivan Basso was born and raised as a man and as a champion, the company in Brunello (Varese) has become a constant point of reference thanks to its ability to diversify and create excellence.
Elmec is a great place to work, with the recently opened company gym where all employees can work out for free before going to the brand new Elmec Bistrot, an innovative restaurant where they can have lunch with colleagues and which follows the “Zero Waste” approach: sustainable menu, Italian ingredients and Smart Fridge for safe redistribution of leftover food.
Elmec is a company that pays attention to the health of its employees with small, important gestures such as establishing a prize for those who use bicycles to get to work or organizing a team of more than a hundred runners and one entirely dedicated to cycling.
And Elmec is an environmentally conscious company with a very strong green vocation. The latest example, in this sense, was the “The kilometer forest” project launched by Elmec last summer. A Sports Challenge in which employees cycled, ran, walked or swam at least 50 kilometers over 50 days. By the end of the 50th day, colleagues had covered an impressive 21,111 km and Elmec chose to donate more than 200 trees to Campo dei Fiori Park, an iconic place in the Varese area, through the nonprofit organization “Selvatica” – promoted by TedX Varese.
