Elite reinforces its support for the Contador Foundation for the next two years
The Italian brand Elite is extending its relationship with the Contador Foundation cycling teams until at least the end of the 2025 season. An agreement that will allow Ivan Basso and Alberto Contador’s squad to strengthen ties and count on the material of a company that has been developing cutting-edge products since 1979.
Created in the heart of Italy, Elite’s award-winning designs in drums, smart rollers and many other products are manufactured in-house. Today, Elite is one of the most innovative global companies in the cycling industry. The company is always on the cutting edge, drawing inspiration from the world’s best cyclists and supporting them with its wide range of smart rollers, products and technologies for indoor and outdoor cycling. From water bottles and bottle cages, to rollers with unprecedented levels of realism, Elite’s vision is to enhance the cycling experience everywhere.
The team will use these smart rollers for performance and preparation, as well as for warming up on time trial days and also to be able to train indoors on bad weather days. An indispensable tool that Elite provides with its Suito-T model. Powerful, quiet and compact, it offers a realistic, precise and fun training experience on the bike. With direct drive to ensure greater precision during training, Suito-T is very stable even during the most intense sprints, and its small size makes it easy to transport and store during the team’s long journeys during the season.
Elite appreciates the extension of the sponsorship agreement: “We are truly delighted to renew our technical partnership with these outstanding cyclists and their team,” says Marco Cavallin, Elite’s director of sponsorship and product innovation. “The continued collaboration with these cyclists is not only an honour, but a profound source of inspiration for Elite. Their invaluable contribution to product development and unwavering support echoes our shared passion for innovation in all aspects of training and racing. We look forward to more seasons of shared success and achievement.”
