Balazs Pollner, new Hungarian champion in the U19 time trial discipline

The young Hungarian first-year rider Balazs Pollner was proclaimed Hungarian time trial champion on Wednesday in a day that brought together the fight for the title in all categories, with success for EOLO-KOMETA Cycling Team ProTeam rider Erik Fetter in the senior category, and in which the EOLO-KOMETA Cycling Team U19 rider achieved the best time in his category.
Pollner flew at almost 48 km/h on the straight Magyar course to stop the clock at 23’50”, no less than 47″ better than Marko Toth’s time. Third place went to the other Hungarian rider of Guillermo Gutiérrez’s team, Balint Feldhoffer, who completed the course 57 seconds faster than Pollner’s time.
