The thirtieth edition of the Vuelta a Valladolid for the junior category concluded this Sunday with a final day that was resolved by sprint, almost 90 riders in the leading group, with victory in the partial for the Madrid rider Mario Anguela (Salchi). The final overall went to the Portuguese rider Antonio Morgado (Bairrada), with a fifth place finish for the Hungarian Balazs Pollner.
The Magyar rider finished in a bunch that also included his team-mates Pedro García, Héctor García and Alem Herráiz. Crashes during the second sector of the second stage in Campaspero, neither Joan Cadena nor Joel Díaz took the start in Valladolid. Pollner, catapulted since his great performance in the Cogeces del Monte time trial, concludes the race as the best first year junior rider of the event.
