A fast prologue opens Okolo Slovenska

The EOLO Kometa boys would certainly have liked to have been in the fight with QuickStep, who took the first three places in the opening time trial of the Okolo Slovenska.

However, Fortunato suffered from a discipline that is not his favourite, and the best blue at the finish line was Rivi (19th). Four chances to win still ahead.

Jesús Hernández: “We knew that such a flat time trial without technical conditions would be detrimental to Fortunato. But I’m happy with the good performance of Rivi, who made a good result. The team in general has been motivated, has done a serious time trial and now it’s time to focus on the sprint options and with the same determination with which we started”.
