Eleazar Jiménez

The rider from Madrid, who has been living in the town of Seseña in Toledo for the last couple of years, is one of the big reinforcements of the youth structure for 2024. Brother of the professional cyclist Daniel Jiménez, it could be said that the rider raised in the town of Aranjuez is making a homecoming: Eleazar was part of the Escuela de Ciclismo Plaza Éboli between the Alevin and Infantil categories. This season, in which he has competed in the Ciudad de Talavera, he has experienced a great sporting evolution. “I wanted people to see me in my first year in the category, I wanted to show courage in the race,” he said in an interview at the end of the campaign about his large number of kilometres in the breakaway throughout the season.  Eleazar likes athletics and from time to time he goes running, especially in the off-season, and he also enjoys mountain walks and the experience of climbing a peak. He considers himself a very positive and optimistic person and always finds motivation in every challenge: “I always look at the positive side of everything”. “One race I would really like to ride one day is the Giro di Lombardia,” he explains. “I would also like to do the Tour de France. Here are two of my favorite mountain passes: the Col du Tourmalet and the Col de Portet”.
