Fran Muñoz, new Catalan time trial champion

The Tarragona town of l’Hospitalet de l’Infant hosted this Saturday the time trial in which the Catalan time trial titles were at stake. A time trial of 18 kilometres in which Fran Muñoz reached the first position after improving by hundredths of a second the time of Pablo García (High Level-GSport). Albert Muntanya (Finisher) completed the podium.

“I’m quite happy, the truth is that the day could not have gone better with this victory both in the absolute classification and in the category. It was the first time trial of the year for us and the idea beforehand was to see how we were and how we could do. In terms of sensations, I was very satisfied. The first part of the time trial had a more headwind and maybe I was more conservative than I should have been there. The second part was very, very, very fast”.
