An edition of the Clásica de Torredonjimeno in which a long-distance attack triumphs

David Delgado (Cortizo) won in an edition of the Torredonjimeno Classic where the breakaway triumphed and in which the vanguard of the representatives of the U23 structure of the Contador Foundation finished in the first main bunch, with Fran Muñoz in twenty-first place. Delgado and Viacheslav Ivanov (MP Group) made their move on the climb to Valdepeñas, chased down the leader of the race at that moment, Alberto Álvarez (Team Extremadura) and consolidated their movement on the subsequent terrain between the three of them.
