Here, the moment that EOLO KOMETA is about to experience is one of those important ones, which can mark the beginning of an important season. The Vuelta a Andalucia is an important race, it is the first testing ground for those riders who want to start making their mark, it is a race that passes through wonderful places and is unforgiving with its demanding climbs and its route. For us at EOLO KOMETA, this race marks the debut in the 2023 season of Lorenzo Fortunato: he who last year was a protagonist on these roads (second in the last stage) and who wants to test his condition after a long period of work in the Teide heights.

It starts strong right away with the first stage that puts four GPMs on the plate and the finish at 8 km from the last climb, good terrain for attacks and climbers. Mountain also on the next day with the arrival on the climb of Fortaleza de la Mota while the third stage will see the arrival at the top of the GPM but it will be the last two days that will decide the overall classification of this race, especially with the climb of the very tough Puerto del Sol expected on the ulterior stage.

Lorenzo Fortunato: “I’ve prepared well, it’s my first race of the season and it’s a race I really like: last year I came second in the last stage, this year I feel I’m even stronger so the goal is to get off to a good start right away and show everyone what we’re worth.”

Jesus Hernandez: “This is an important race with a lot of strong teams and top riders. We will try to get into the breakaways, to show the team jersey on TV as much as possible, and we know this will be Fortunato’s debut. He is improving every day, we will see what will happen in the first stage that will be very hard but the important thing is that he will have a strong team around him that will give 100%: we will live day by day, and we will see what will happen.”
