With Sidi on foot, a return to a winning past
A shoe, for a cyclist, is not just a simple garment: it is a working tool, it is the link between the man and his bicycle, it is a companion of the long days spent on the saddle pushing on the pedals. Starting next season, on the feet of the EOLO KOMETA riders there will be the guarantee of Sidi shoes: quality, innovation and aesthetic beauty (which never hurts…) to run towards greater and greater goals.
Our guys got their first taste of the Sidi world at the “fitting day” during our last training camp: a day when each runner was given the opportunity to try on his shoe to find the perfect fusion between foot and shoe. A crucial moment, given the great importance of the shoe in contributing to the athlete’s final performance.
And it is nice to note that the story between our team and Sidi is one of those that speak of returns, of circles that close, of relationships that continue. Yes, because Sidi has accompanied in the past the exploits and victories of our Alberto Contador and Ivan Basso, who now find Sidi again in the team they founded and lead. “For me – says Alberto Contador – the fact that SIDI is returning to the team and to our feets is a reason of excitement and pride.
