New dates, new location. The eighth edition of the Selection Campus of the Alberto Contador Foundation will finally be held from October 9 to 11 at the Oliva Nova Beach & Golf Resort facilities. Next to the Mediterranean, in the headquarters of the pre-season concentrations of the continental and sub23 teams of the Alberto Contador Foundation, in the same magnificent location where the official presentations of all the teams also take place every January. The registration period will remain open until September 28th.
During this period, all those interested in participating will be able to formalize their candidacy in the existing form on the website of the junior team of the Alberto Contador Foundation. Once the registration period has closed, on October 1st all pre-registrants will be informed whether or not they have been selected and, if so, how to proceed next. The Campus will be held following a rigorous prevention protocol in the context of the epidemiological situation in Spain due to the coronavirus pandemic.

It is a fundamental activity within the Foundation that, being aware of the priority of any issue concerning public health, we wanted to organize yes or yes whenever possible. Between Friday and Sunday, riders in the cadet category and first-year youth riders will face an intense agenda of activities, talks, personal interviews and group dynamics in search of the new cyclists who will join the junior team of the Alberto Contador Foundation for the 2021 season. If in the two previous editions the guests were the professional riders Diego Pablo Sevilla and Juan Pedro López, on this occasion the protagonist who will share his experience with the cyclists will be the Kometa-Xstra Cycling Team rider Alejandro Ropero. The bicycle will also have its moment, on Sunday morning, and also with the presence of the cyclist from Granada, by some of the routes that crosses the Gran Fondo Alberto Contador.
