Juan Pedro López, the best of Polartec-Kometa U23
The Polartec-Kometa U23 team today ran the second scoring round for the Spanish Cup, the very tough Aiztondo, which ends in a demanding final climb of 2 kilometers long.
Juan Pedro Lopez, third in the finish line, was the best of the men of Rafa Diaz Justo, after fighting alone in front of a group of a dozen riders who ended up playing the victory and in which the majority were those from Lizarte and Caja Rural teams.
Juampe López demonstrated today that in his second year as U23 has made a great jump of quality in his qualities as a climber, which allowed him to deal with the most veteran riders who preceded him, since he was the first U23 at the finish line. But he was not the only prominent rider in the Polartec-Kometa, as the team did a very good overall performance, highlighting José Antonio García and Daniele Cantoni in their work to carry forward Juan Pedro López so he would not lose his options in the Larraul final climb.
