Rivi 10th on Ganna’s day
On the day that Filippo Ganna takes back the jersey of Italian time trial champion, our boys made their mark with Samuele Rivi finishing 10th overall. Now, anticipation is growing for Sunday’s road race with Albanese expected to have a great test and Alessandro Fedeli’s debut in the EOLO-KOMETA jersey. Still in doubt instead is the participation of Fortunato, still struggling with the aftermath of the fall suffered at the Adriatica Ionica Race.
Samuele Rivi: “In the end I am happy with my test, I cannot complain: I gave everything, I have no regrets. Now the head is all about Sunday’s test, when we will try in every way to help Albanese.”
