This team always fight
Of course: we always race to win. That is the goal of every day and every race, that is the energy that drives us every day.
Then, it happens that there are races where winning is almost impossible: when there are phenomena like Pogacar in front, it becomes difficult to think of beating the best that world cycling has to offer today. But a team like ours can still race the only way it knows how: on the attack, in front, chasing its dreams. And that’s what we did again today, in a beautiful and difficult stage with a tough and demanding uphill finish.
Seeing Vincenzo Albanese in front was a spectacle, because there were only climbers around him. Seeing Edward Ravasi in front was perhaps even more beautiful, because Edward comes from a difficult period and he deserved it: “I am happy,” said Ravasi, “because the last two months have been complicated. I tried to stay with Pogacar and maybe in the end I paid a bit for the effort, but to be up front again was a great feeling”.
