5th stage: Saturday 26th March. Casalguidi-Cantagrillo (160.2 km)

Breathless, breathless. There’s no time to look back at the past, because the calendar forces us to look ahead: and this, after all, is its beauty. It’s back on the road, with a demanding race full of champions: the “Coppi and Bartali”, on the roads of those who wrote the history of cycling.

It starts tomorrow, and in the four stages planned there will be no space to stay calm: every day foresees difficulties, and every day will be the occasion to invent something. Stefano Zanatta, who will drive the car in the race, knows it well: “The race is much more challenging than the other years, so it will be even more important to run well and take advantage of the opportunities that will present themselves in these five stages. The team is young, made up of riders who want to show off and grow: our goal is to win a stage, we have three riders who can be competitive and we’ll play our cards right”.
